Stovetop Cinnamon Apples with Maple Syrup

Fall is here and apples are everywhere! Whenever we visit our local apple farm we make sure to leave with a huge bag of apples to later be devoured for snacks or turned into delicious desserts like this simple stovetop cinnamon apple recipe made with delicious maple syrup, cinnamon, and butter! I hope you enjoy it!

Kitchen Tools:

Small Pot

Stirring Spoon/ Spatula

Cutting Board

Knife

Vegetable Peeler

Ingredients:

2 Apples- peeled and chopped

2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup

1 Tablespoon Butter

1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon

Pinch Salt

Directions:

  1. Melt butter in your small pot over medium low heat

  2. Pour in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally (10min for soft apples with a gentle crunch or 15min for a softer apple)

  3. Enjoy right away or save for future use like with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or on your oatmeal in the morning.
