Stovetop Cinnamon Apples with Maple Syrup
Fall is here and apples are everywhere! Whenever we visit our local apple farm we make sure to leave with a huge bag of apples to later be devoured for snacks or turned into delicious desserts like this simple stovetop cinnamon apple recipe made with delicious maple syrup, cinnamon, and butter! Kitchen Tools:
Small Pot
Stirring Spoon/ Spatula
Cutting Board
Knife
Vegetable Peeler
Ingredients:
2 Apples- peeled and chopped
2 Tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Butter
1/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
Pinch Salt
Directions:
Melt butter in your small pot over medium low heat
Pour in the remaining ingredients and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally (10min for soft apples with a gentle crunch or 15min for a softer apple)
Enjoy right away or save for future use like with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or on your oatmeal in the morning.
